Celtic fined by UEFA over â??illicit chantingâ??

Recommended Posts

Hate is a terrible thing and it blinds them to the truth, that in there continually reporting of us, they ignored the blindingly obvious that their sectarian singing in Europe would return to bite them on the arse too.

I think the Germans have a word for their behaviour, 'Schadenfreude' Might have some of that now myself, but don't call it hypocritical, call it Karma.

Of course, not only is their chanting religiously sectarian, but also political. But don't confuse them with facts. Or tell the SFA and Strathclyde's finest to act according to the law (Terrorist Act 2006) ...

In tonight's BBC Scotland flagship 'Reporting Scotland' teatime news, they did NOT include this information as a news item.

It was reported by Dougie Vipond as the SECOND item on the sports desk. Dunfermline's claim for compensation due to Saturday's postponment was first item. The headline on ra Sellik was, "Celtic fined by UEFA", no mention of reasoning for the fine until the last sentence of a three sentence report lasting 15 seconds.

Thus, no Chief Reporter, Reevel Alderson standing outside ra Stydome as the lead item, solemnly drawing the link between ra Yahoos and those jolly craicsters, the IRA. No opinion sought from Prof' Tom Devine to add perspective. No footage of Yahoos in full voice with the bouncing ball going across lyrics at the bottom of the screen. No Chief Football Reporter, Chris McLaughlin on the Sports Report earnestly asking Graham Spiers of the PR effects on the wider Scottish game.

J'accuse BBC Scotland.
