It's why I didn't want to talk about team selections, formations, best sides, or strikers (sorry for having a go Gribz!) - because it was all tempting fate and assuming we were keeping these players. I ask because you are not here, otherwise boss's would offload people who are long term sick. Whether Players are put on sick leave is another point I suppose. I would imagine there is some kind of insurance being used. Generally not. However there is no requirement to pay them the full amount of their salary. For example a company may say that we will pay you in full for up to 5 sick days a year and after that you will only received statutioory sick pay. We normally are paid 100% here but a few lose the first 2 days. In retrospect I suppose administration would mean that anyone could be sacked even here. A boss can go through the courts to get you out but he would have to prove your position no longer exists and he would not be able to employ anyone else for that position for a certain length of time.
