Am I the only one who's pissed off about Wylde & Celik?

It seems to me that in hindsight the best thing for SDM to have done would have been to pay off Lloyds £18M, invest 5M and sell the club for £23,000,001... However, he probably didn't have the funds to do so.

The cynic in me says Wyldes decision wasn't totally selfless...

But so what if it isn't? I'm sorry but Wylde is not the cause of Rangers' woes, if it suits him AND the club then big deal. I won't castigate him for it, or any other player. The future of Rangers is completely up in the air so I can understand why there may be "selfish" (not a word I would choose) reasons in amongst the gallant ones

Wylde is just a young lad making a career for himself. He recently signed a new contract with a jump in earnings, he's no doubt took on some fresh debt due to his pay hike, so you really couldn't expect him to take a pay cut could you?

He probably had more reason than the other players to get out of Ibrox, I don't blame the guy for coming to his decision, no wonder he couldn't sleep at night.

I'd be naive beyond words if I actually thought Wylde left purely to save jobs. He clearly had something else lined up otherwise he'd have stayed.

But at the same time his act of rejecting March wage (20 grand maybe) and taking no redundancy package (who knows how much) is to be applauded - that in itself already DOES save jobs and WAS a purely selfless act.

He leaves with no ill feeling from me at all, and I hope he has a decent career from here on in.
