So I suppose you could argue that if anyone was to be sent off it should have been Whittaker although Samaras was still going for a split second after that. BUT the telling thing for me is Bocanegra's reaction, head in the air and then down with a knowing look on his face. He knew he brought him down and he knew he was about to be sent off. If that had been at the other end and we hadn't been awarded a penalty and a red card we would have been screaming at the ref.
