bluebear54 0 Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Well now, life these days is nothing if not eventful. No doubt we will just have to wait for the Daly Llama's revelations. I don't really rate him alongside the the most incisive of investigative journalists, and that's being brutally honest. However, I also don't think that, unlike some others, he has a wider agenda (other than his own furtherment) but I'm open to proven wrong. I do however find it staggering to think that Chick Young and Daly are the crown jewels in the BBC's box. Really - where are we going? Supporting the Rangers used to be about football. Supporting football used to be about football. Mind you, older Bears will recall that sports media coverage used to be about football too. I remember waiting outside the paper shop for the pink or the green. I think that we're all going to hell in a basket, and that includes the SFA/SPL, the sports media, Rangers, Celtic, the rest of the upper tier of Scottish football and not least, the national team. We are going to end up as a backwater where the best teams in the land may aspire to a semi-professional base at best. Where any decent talent will shoot the craw at 15 or 16 - and for a pittance.
