McCoist - We are in talks for return of Gattuso

An even bigger transfer than Roy Keane going to Celtic. Words cannot describe how big this transfer would be.

Technically it's not a transfer given he's a free agent.

Immediate merchandising potential aside, having a household name like Gattuso on board would be a huge bonus in terms of the asian market we're supposedly going to be trying to break into.

On the playing side it's a little bit fuzzier. Who's place would he be taking in the team and as much as he'd no doubt be the better option, would it be worth it for just one season?

One season? The guy could last till he was 38! Incredibly fit and will not stop working and running.

I was under the impression that a one year contract with us (money not being an issue) to round off his career is what he's looking for.
