SPL to vote on July 4

"

Most of the SPL member clubs have already been getting together and having discussions about it.

I think that on the day they'll turn up, exchange pleasantries (and last minute whispers), then anonymously vote on the matter.

They are making Scottish Football a laughing stock at the moment with their public statements it taints the vote in my opinion.

Also what happens if they vote. We end up in the 3rd Division. The Big Tax Case comes back (we win). The Dual Contract case comes back (no case to answer)

Will they reimburse for our losses? Fat Chance. Some of this comment may come from the Twilight Zone but even so the question is valid we haven't lost on any of the above yet! They will be making decisons on "presumed guilt"

If it is just a one year point penalty then I can live with that. I believe that was the outcome a few times in England as well, but a three year penalty is a nonsense.

If it was still May or the first wek of June I can understand a 2 week notice period, but considering we've known for a while about a vote then they should have been setting a 1 week notice. Everyones had long enough to think about it....they want Rangers out but still want the income. Now the next 2 weeks will be looking at the scenarios of having Newco in the SPL with sanctions and looking at what happens without.

I hope they all budget themselves on expecting Rangers filling their away stands only to see ball boys at that end of the ground when we play.

Id still have filled out the SFL application form if it was me.

In the interests of openness and transparency, I call upon BBC Scotland and STV to cover live this momentus event, which as we all know sees the future of Scottish football hang in the balance.

Think of the advertising revenue! Think of the air of democracy which would sweep through our game!

I'd pay to see it.
