He was being metaphorical, no reason to take him to task over that statement. I would hope even a showman like CG would appreciate that it was ridiculous enough (even for a club the size of Rangers) to suggest names like those as transfer targets. Like I was trying to say (just missed out the word 'than') it's probably better to namedrop household names if you're going to namedrop at all.
