Division 3 - No Sanctions? - By Chris Graham

I agree with Gunslinger on this one unless the SPL come out now and say no matter when Rangers return to the SPL they will be facing sanctions. They can't in my view suddenly introduce them 3 years down the line. The sanctions have to stop sometime surely.

In a situation like this we still have power that we are not using. We could apply to play in the SFL and win Div 1 but remain there winning it over and over again without accepting a license for SPL and become Scottish Football League champions. Soon the SFL Div 1 would be as appealing as the SPL. There is nothing much between Raith, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Dundee, Hamilton, Partick than there is St Mirren, St Johnstone, Motherwell etc. It could be a bit like when PDC moved away from BDO in darts. BDO claims to be the original level but PDC is the interesting one everyone watches. When a player wins the PDC world championship is he a level below the BDO world champion? No.

Their transfer ban wasn't even legal and they had already ruled out the other sanctions as being too severe. The whole thing was ott to begin with. Morally, this should die a death. Apart from anything else the subsequent events have made it obsolete. We have not been found guilty for EBT's so any punishment in relation to that should be back to the Court of Session. We cannot agree to sign away legal rights and should take this to a higher football authority. The SFA have made a balls up and have been told by UEFA to sort the mess out, but they still can't do it without trying to emasculate Rangers further and give them another kicking.
