Will Celtic fans' beliefs disintegrate once the gloating is over?

The only bigotry we can stamp out is our own.

How does pointing out that some of the Celtic support wont be happy until protestants / Rangers are no more, say more about Ian than it does about them ..

He is 100% correct, the Celtic support sing about it .

No, Allan. All you are saying is that our differences are differences. You forget that our similarities are identical.

You seriously believe if we look in a mirror we will just see them looking back at us, no difference between us a tall?

This getting back on religion again:facepalm:

The thread is about what will the deluded orcs have to be delusional about now that all their dreams (almost) are complete. Nothing about bigotry.

Maybe it's just harder to recognise bigotry when it's coming from our own side.

I think everyone would acknowledge there's bigotry on both sides.

But, aside from that, there are a good number of Celtic fans who are convinced that any time they lose it's due to some conspiracy against them. Clearly the current state of affairs proves that wrong.

(Incidentally it's not the idea of a rigged system that bothers them - just one where it's not rigged in their favour.)

Just published this calscot. Hope that's ok. - http://www.gersnet.co.uk/

Keep an eye on the comments beneath the article. This should be interesting. :)

Yeah of course that's ok - although I don't it's one of the most well written things I've done as it was composed pretty quickly...

I can imagine the comments will be pretty blistering...

So us pointing out they are delusional and paranoid with a victim mentality chip on their shoulder that could feed a small nation is being bigoted.

Might as well lock me up now then.

Celtic fans are about to emerge to a world they don't recognise - one where their beliefs about the order of the world have been shattered. Will they be able to cope?

They will find that years of carrying the enormous chip in the belief that Rangers are the establishment club was pure fantasy. How can Rangers be the establishment club and be so royally and savagely attacked by all and sundry including the Football bodies from the SFL to FIFA and the HM government who could have easily saved face and pulled in tens of millions for the tax payer by going lenient on the club?

Rangers have been massacred by the fourth estate in all forms of media which completely shatters their illusion that they are all biased for the Ibrox side.

The club have been attacked on all sides by almost every club in the land which tears up their dogma that the likes of Dunfermline lie down to us to hand us the title, Hearts (for which they use the bigoted title, "Mini-Huns"), do not give us an easy ride and the rest of the league don't make it simple for Rangers every week.

With the SFA and SPL headed by Celtic men and using Celtic minded lawyers, referees under their thumb and sacked for anything remotely contentious to their sensibilities, ex Celtic players and hoop friendly journalists everywhere ragging Rangers as much as possible, MSPs wearing Celtic tops to parliament, the Glasgow council run by their sort and handing them development money for the commonwealth games - they will really have to reassess just who is backed by the establishment.

How will they cope without their put upon demeanour, their cries of discrimination every time they are rightly criticised, their impression that everyone is against them and only them? What will they do with their excuses and paranoia when they lose?

Just where will they be able to point the finger of blame when they can't cope with the fact they are responsible for themselves?

Having your ingrained beliefs destroyed must be like having the rug pulled from underneath you and making you reflect on your wasted, passed life based on untrue assumptions and myth. Maybe we should feel sorry for them.

that was superb. so true and have been saying similar for years.

Nobody said that.

You might have a wee habit there - winning an argument that nobody is having. :)
