Brian Kennedy new Statement

Recommended Posts

Lifted from FF:

This came from Dave Swanton on Twitter justnow, BK's pr man...

BK re his offer to buy 51% of Rangers..... The Offer on the table is to purchase 51%, with an option to purchase the remaining 49%, opened up to supporters and other honourable trustworthy Rangers Men. The reason for control is to give the club much needed leadership and direction to get it out the mess its in. When its is finally financially sound, the 51% will be sold to other such supporters, Rangers Men etc. AT NO PROFIT.

As said the other day, such generic statements are all well and good (and fairly interesting) but the fans need to know a lot more than that before backing anyone.

Our support are battled fatigued and just want to get back to watching the football. I suspect Green et al know this so I'm sure any buyer(s) will too. As such their window for making a serious offer for the club (alongside fan goodwill) is an ever-decreasing one as it stands.

Guest Dutchy

I don't know if that's a new statement, more a repeation of what's aready been said, and it's obvioulsy not enough for Green and his 'investors' to accept.

Will this Hibbee blow-hard not just go away and leave us in peace.

As a Hibs fan, why is he doing this "for free"? He's not one of us, so his motives must be questioned thoroughly. Is it just to upset the club and prevent stability?

Im sorry, but if it looks like shit and smells like shit, it must be a True Blue Knights production.

More from BK................Offer was submitted 25 June to controlling investors, and verbally rejected 27 June. Since then , the financial projections of RFC have subsided considerably along with the player assets etc. Since it was leaked (from within Rangers), and Mr Green denied knowledge of it, (amazing since his Directors discussed the bid with persons outwith Management), the Offer has been resubmitted to Zeus, without an expiry date. It should now be more attractive to investors as it gives them a way out within 24 months with their investment plus 10% back. However we have not recieved a response. We expect it to be rejected but they may revert if they need the cash flow.
