Vanguard Bears - just who are they?

Recommended Posts

VB were taken in by Whyte and they know it. To this day, as you know, snide FFers delight in sneering, "Are they still backing Whyte?" when VB is mentioned. Whereas we all remember that shortly afterwards, the most nauseating acts of sycophancy in the history of the Rangers support were witnessed on FF and the RST site as the Won't Get Fooled Again Loyal first thanked Martin Bain for dropping his legal action (!), before fighting like pigs at a trough to launch their tongues up first Paul Murray's ringpiece, closely followed by Kennedy's, Walter's and most laughably of all, Bomber Brown's.

VB were duped by Whyte but at least they didn't act like rent boys thereafter.

There we go again. Defending Rangers and our fans, except the ones you don't like.

As I stated previously I'm not going to defend the actions (or inactions) of any forum or supporters group for none of them come out with any credit at all over Whyte. Though you're using a rather broad brush to do your tarring.

Change one line to :

We're up to our eyes in BBC lies.

Sing it loud, sing it proud. Can you imagine the various media discussions once the changed line is explained?

We're upto our knees in toasted cheese?

Don't bite, we know that's littered with bullshit all designed to feel warm and cosy inside. Do what I do!

I notice what you don't/can't do is argue with anything I've said.

The extent of your comeback is, "Tut. Honestly, some people."

Because I enjoy a fantasy theory too much.

I'd rather, now, let it go and enjoy it. Experience dictates that conformational biased can't be overcome, so instead of trying to overcome something that can't be undone, best sit back and laugh at the madness as Rangers fans try to get one over each other on websites. Kick on, have the digs, froth somewhat, dream up more stuff to undermine Rangers fans. I won't respond further, but I will laugh and shake my head.

Have fun.:)

the problem with vb and whyte wasn't that they were taken in, lots were. it was the still defending him long after it was clear he had ruined us deliberately.

the whyte fanboys deserve everything they get when it comes to being slagged over whyte.

90%+ of Rangers fans were. More were taken in by Murray. We either learn our lesson and stay vigilant and willing to embrace change or we score points with each other about regarding who saw the light first. The option to get involved and have a say in the club is upon us now. Personally, that's where we can influence for the better. Just my opinion of course.
