Vanguard Bears - just who are they?

Recommended Posts

No, that's why I asked.

Who long have you got mate.

I could give you my view but it wouldn't do the subject any where near the justice it deserves so I won't even try. What I will say is I grew up in this community, and you could not meet more down to earth folk, who would go out of their way to help anybody they meet.

The OP had a bash at another website and its owner. Is that okay?

To be honest I wish all the infighting and bickering among our support would stop ...Little chance of that ever happening when people use the web to attack another group or website because they disagree with their views, chants ect . Its just going to go on tit for tat and division among our support will get wider..

The OP wasn't written by anyone who we know posts here on Gersnet, so essentially there shouldn't be a major issue with discussing it. Gersnet doesn't forbid anyone copying and pasting articles which are having a pop/dig/bash at the club either. Where Gersnet at least tries to draw a line is forum members here bashing other forums, fan groups or website owners. Unfortunately even that line gets crossed without consequence sometimes, but we try our best.

I think they're a great bunch and something Rangers as a support have needed for decades.

It's human nature that we do t all like the same thing. If you don't like the VB's that's fair enough, but one things for sure, they're not going away.

Until a song is outlawed then IMO its allowed to be sung like the Billy Boys was, which we all know was the best song ever to get the crowd going at Ibrox, yet the cry babies got their way and got it banned.

Ibrox has been a morgues once about 1991 anyway, so the advent of the VB's, Union Bears and the whole Blue order, Broomie front mad squad is a welcome addition to Ibrox for me.

The only qualm/complaint I have is them letting off smoke bombs at away ground. This is going to get someone hurt as smoke causes panic no matter what anyone says
