Naming Rights Deal Close

I've read it, but I'd have to go and pull up the document again to verify those figures. If they're correct, then that lot adds up to £13.5m which wouldn't leave enough for Ally's £10m transfer kitty that Green's spoken about and that's before the other uses for the cash outlined in the IPO are taken into consideration.

£10 million budget doesn't have to come from the IPO...

Surely spending the whole lot on one project would not be good business?

It wouldn't be good business for Green & co personally if they allocate all of the cash to one project that's fundamentally a long term project for the good of the club, but throwing £20m at a stadium expansion would probably be good business for the club since it'll be a long long time before there's a spare £20m kicking around again.

A stadium expansion that may or may not be of benefit? Surely that's a gamble. Better using it for the Edmiston House, moving the shop and ticket office projects. Long term projects pretty much guaranteed to work IMO but still without spunking the whole lot.

Getting snidey are we then?

OK, does every club in the world use a share issue to provide transfer budgets? They must happen a helluva lot.

Green has said numerous times that he's got £10m sitting waiting for Ally to spend. Where's it coming from?

Where every other transfer budget in our history has come from I imagine, the club's income and perhaps some personal investment thrown in.

If the share issue is our only source of cash it'll hardly last long.

None of the projects would come with guarantees and in the long term I think a stadium expansion would definitely generate more income than what's been spoken about. How is moving the shop and ticket office going to generate more income?

More space will generate more use and a cafe that close will be widely used.

What good will an expansion do if our crowds remain pretty much as they are (minus the odd derby game and massive european night)?
