He's one of the best in our league at 'pulling the strings' in midfield, and as young as Clement is.. there's no substitute for experience. Gribz 743 Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 What went wrong yesterday was Falkirk won the midfield battle coz they are similar to the other 137 professional teams in the UK that they have a midfield and understand its common knowledge to play players across the middle rather than just lump 2 players in the same position. We have all been saying for weeks maybe months now that the formation does not work home or away. We lacked width and even though we played with 2 wide players, Novo and Prso were rarely looking for the ball in wide positions in an attempt to stretch their defence and create space.
