Paulo di Canio - a fascist?

Recommended Posts

David Miliband's resignation from the Board of Sunderland FC due to the appointment of self-confessed fascist, Paulo Di Canio; is a real piece of sporting integrity. Of course, the fact that Miliband has recently announced his decision to vacate his parliamentary seat and take up a post heading a world-wide charity based in New York would influence the resignation, heavily. It makes you wonder why fellow Labour Party MPs and members of the Cabinet, Des Browne, Brian Wilson, and John Reid did NOT resign from ra Sellik Boards when Paulo was plying his trade at ra green'ngrey?

Di Canio's fascist sympathies and actions were well known and documented when he arrived at ra Stydome, but he was presented as a cheeky chappie. His firm belief that Scottish football was dominated by a host of anti-Catholic organisations was well amplified by all the usual suspects. Even when he moved on to bigger clubs like Sheffield Wednesday and West Ham United, he continued the rhetoric to a welcoming Scottish broadcast and print media.

He was so lionised that Radio Snyde auctioned off a pair of his (jack)boots for in excess of £30,000. The then Objective Host of ra Show, Paul Cooney was beside himself at the both the generosity and humanity of Paulo. The purchaser, Wullie Haughey(former Sellik Board member and consistently the Scottish Labour party's biggest benefactor), proclaimed the (jack)boots to be his most treasured possession. I mean, if you are prepared to splash £30k plus on a pair of (jack)boots belonging to a fascist, you would think Wullie would want a pair belonging to Franco, Salazar, Benito, Adolf, or pope Benedict?

Anyways, I am hearing Paulo is non-plussed at Miliband's resignation. He admits to being hard of hearing and only accepted the post because genuinely, he thought he was taking over Sudetenland.
