even if we had to start from scratch a second time it would be worth it.

That's not a worst case scenario though is it?

but i would also point out the sfa's articles of association prevent them from punishing a member club if it has been the victim of a crime. if green has done something illegal then the sfa cant punish rangers for that.

You don't need to point out any SFA rules. You know fine well they'll bend the rules and twist the facts to see us punished for any wrongdoing by Green. The one defence we've got this time round that we didn't have before with Whyte is that the board have acted. It's still no guarantee they won't be blamed though.

to that end the sfa could be in bother if it turns out whyte acted illegally in buying us because they have already punished us.

They'd claim they acted on information they had at their disposal. If we took them to court, then we might be compensated.

I'm unsure of Green's sackable offence right now tbh.

If a CEO is found guilty of fraud then I guess that might be a sackable offence. It's obvious we're not going to sack him for risky use of language now though.

Just to be clear I'm not expecting the worst here, just preparing for it.

It could well be that the board feels he's done nothing wrong and think an independent inquiry will be the most trusted method of proving it.

the sfa can bend their rules all they want but they must act within them or we take them to court and win.

In which case Jackson would have been talking sh|te, no?

i think jackson has rather been proven correct by this emergency board meeting.

green may have convinced the board and they decided that this commission was the best way to prove to everyone its all legit but that wouldn't make jackson wrong.

i am sure their are parts where hes not 100% right. i certainly hope so or we have money missing.

aj's accusation that blue pitch are whyte/ellis is also a worry.

Both are concerning aspects.

It's possible that Jackson's money comment was plucked out of thin air, but I doubt it.

AJ's comments about Blue Pitch could also be a mistake, but there was always something fishy about the immediate rush to float the club on the market and I think after everything that happened last year, it was a bit of an alarm bell scenario to see large blocks of shares getting divided up amongst faceless investment funds.
