Rangers board doesn't accept Green's word

Recommended Posts

tennents have now officially complained about his "racist" comment.

hmmm, they were fairly quiet about it hitherto. So it's almost as if somebody in the know in the Ibrox boardroom told their biggest sponsor a wee bit of inside info on Green, i.e he's toast, and Tennents have decided to do a bit of public grandstanding.

Or the sponsors are just responding to pestering. Football club employees have had far worse incidents and their business hasn't really suffered at all.

An apology has been made and as far as I'm concerned the matter should be closed. The enquiry is another issue and that may bring something up to make Charles' position untenable, but it would be an utter joke if he lost his job based on this nonsense.

Is there hidden meaning in everything for you?

The tennents deal is over in a few weeks anyway.

So you arent concerned that both current AND future sponsors make the same overtones ?

John Terry remained Chelsea club captain after being tried for racial abuse, both by a court and the FA. As far as i'm aware they haven't started struggling for sponsorship and business deals since.

So i'm not really concerned no.

You have to admit there's a bit of a difference between a top EPL club who won the champions league in the same season as those events and our own situation at present
