Ally's signing strategy

Recommended Posts

Can't help but think that some of the cash we're currently splashing would be better spent trying to create a scouting system worthy of the name.

We can't afford not to win the league. Can't see the massive difference of putting in a scouting system in two years time, just a delay for it bearing fruit. Can see a massive difference in stumbling to second place and losing the play-off because we don't have the players.

We can't afford not to invest in a decent scouting system, it's a huge false economy not too.

There's only so many ex-players we can sign before that well dries up and as much as I like Ricky Foster he will not make the difference between us being promoted or not.

I only said what is true mate, worst Rangers team I've ever watched, a team which started badly (which can be expected) a team that could only improve (which they did) but then a team which got worse as the season progressed.

This I agree with. It should have been the worst team ever as per Calscot's argument (CG said this also and got slated but I see his point) but after getting a squad together and being full time with the facilites we have the only thing we should have saw is improvement but the product on the park was awful at times and it wasnt a one off. This would have been understandable early in the season when none of the player knew each other and the squad was wafer thin.
