SFL clubs having second thoughts?

Recommended Posts

At the end of the day, we are where we are and can do nothing about it. We have exactly 1 vote amongst 42 others, and quite a few look at us in utter disdain and hate - for we are still there. The club itself can at this moment and time hardly do a thing about it. We, on the other hand, can. If (and that's a big IF) the support would unite, it could still make a stand against those who wished and still wish us ill - simply by not handing them the Blue Pound. That is what will hurt them more than any words will.

As for Rangers, once we have our membership and license and all, we should quite "humbly" look into the affairs of last year again, the way it was all handled and by whom, whether the embargo and the retaining of the price money et al was legal, no matter whether we signed it or not.

It utterly beggars belief that no oldco-shareholder et al has even attempted to challenge this and the handling of the oldco / club by the authorities in court.

On a sidenote, the current boards looks very dubious, yet, how long are they in office? Six months?

Doncaster has done absolutely nothing for our game, so Longmuir should be a cert

If Longmuir had any support amongst those who make the decisions. In any case, would he stand a chance against the currently mentioned members of the board?

I must disagree with you here...Doncaster has presided over and been 'active' in the worst period in Scottish football history, the mere fact the tit is still in a job is staggering and probably gives the nod to him getting the ticket on this new junket.

Neither for me. Doncaster has proved he can only make things worse while being smug and incompetant. Longmuir showed to much weakness while the SPL was trying to get a takeover through. He had the trump card of the majority of clubs plus the only show in town, this regardless if the Div 1 sides wanted to join an SPL2 the legal side of things was in black and white than they had to give 3 years notice.

A footballing man should be at the helm. Kenny Dalglish would be my choice.

Great point about Longmuir Gribz. I had high hopes that he would use the leverage he had to re-balance the power but for some reason he's rolled over and let Doncaster and Co swallow his organisation up. One can only speculate why this might be....££££

For the "prods" on here, the guy you supposedly worship was the epitome of humility and being humble was at the centre of his teachings. He also taught against pride which in your religion is one of the deadly sins...

Psalms 25:9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.
