James Easdale appointed director

I don't see what the Eadales bring to this at all, they may be successful businessmen in Greenock, but according to posters elsewhere their net assets are pretty small beer. They are heavily mortgaged.

That's our main working capital source though, so unless they are actually planning to put us out of business they can't touch much of that.

Didnt stop green taking out millions or ahmed looking for a scandelous settlement.

He did have this to say...

“As a lifelong Rangers supporter, I am proud and honoured to serve on the board of such a great sporting institution and look forward to helping Rangers Football Club continue its journey back to the top of Scottish football.”

Sounds a decent enough chap to me...and he's not a Morton fan, that was banded about with the gangster quotes when his name was first mentioned with Rangers iirc.

A) I am not in denial but is this not just rumour, gossip and possible scaremongering? In what way are the gangsters?

Call it whatever you like. I've seen and heard enough from people who's information and judgement I fully trust to make me feel certain that Strathclyde's (actually Inverclyde's) finest in Greenock know them for reasons outwith their local charitable donations.

Even although I don't find much about this whole sorry mess funny, this one did make me laugh... my brother tells me they bought the building which houses their local Procurator Fiscal's office. That's a peach!

I'm not sure why there's a need to try and prove all the stories are wrong by focussing on the use of "gangster" which was used by a few people with a lack of imagination. Whatever tag is given isn't that relevant.

For those who haven't heard the stories, your best bet is to speak to someone from Inverclyde. You can then decide whether you wish to put any credence in them and how relevant it is to Rangers.
