The new, old regime

If Paul Murray was to get on the board following the EGM and Mather, Stockbridge etc were removed. Who would be a suitable Chief Exec?

After what we have had to endure for the past 2 years would you accept Martin Bain back? He had his faults and didn't publicly back the fans over some issues but, he certainly acted in the professional manner that one would expect from a Rangers chief exec.

P.S. its just a question so try and stay calm with the responses!!

Not convinced Murray or Bain will ever be on the board of the club again - at least not on key positions.

Blin may be a CEO candidate but perhaps is more suited to the FD role. Also, McColl et al have indicated that they'd be happy for Mather to stay on as CEO but that's unlikely.

The chairman role right now is the most interesting vacancy. Who fills that?

You are right, that is an issue. Getting the balance of business sense and being a fan (to an extent) is going to be difficult. Too much either way can be detrimental either on the playing side or the business side. Then there is the ego-maniac (have we had one of them before?? haha)

If its a new regime would Dave King be looking at investing and taking the position? Would he be suitable?

The next month or so will be very interesting and i'm sure there is plenty going on in the background that has yet to come out.....for both sides.

Not going to happen at this immediate moment. Longer term, possibly but suspect not.

I don't think it will happen either Frankie but he is the type of person we need, good business credentials, experience, and a fan helps.
