Rangers fans' chief Drew Roberton claims...

It's him that's chosen to speak to the Daily Record though Frankie.

It may well be they spoke to the Press Association as opposed to any one single outlet.

In any event that doesn't relate to what we were discussing above.

You were talking about sources, perhaps I'm a bit slow today. :laugh2:

There's just a lot going on right now and constant claims over this and that being a majority. I still think there's a lot of fans who aren't really interested in taking 'sides' either way.

The Rangers support is probably the most fractured support on Planet Football.

Even during the administration and liquidation process, the different fan groups were all pursuing different agendas. We seem more interested with fighting amongst ourselves and discrediting people who don't share the same opinion than we do seeing the bigger picture.

The sooner we get one fan body with everyone pulling in the one direction the better. How many other clubs do you know that have a Trust, Association and Assembly plus several other wee off-shoot groups? (VB, SoS, Blue Order, Union Bears etc). It's absolutely ridiculous.

I don't think it matters whether this individual or that individual feel that he doesn't speak for them. What does matter is that the main supporter's organisations are working closely together and do have a unity of purpose. While they may not speak for certain individuals, they do speak for a lot of supporters and I think that Robertson has correctly gauged the mood of a great many fans. And the fact that they are working together will sway a lot of supporters who may not be happy with the way things are going but have had no real focus for their disquiet until now.
