Sandy Easdale Statement

Recommended Posts

stockbridge will have to make up his 35 hrs actually working.

Did you see the article in the record yesterday about his property purchase? That's some amount of cash he's forked out on that mansion! £755,000 he's paid for it so far. £330,000 last July and £425,000 this June. Spivtastic!

In recent days there have been suggestions that I speak publicly to the media about my family's involvement with Rangers Football Club.

A reasonable thing to do, but something that you fail miserably to address in this statement.

At this stage I do not think getting embroiled in incessant speculation is in the best interests of Rangers

By issuing a statement that says nothing, all you are doing is increasing speculation. Iy would not be hard to issue a statement clarifying things.

I have no desire to criticise any individual or group and believe the constant tit for tat that we have seen recently is damaging the Club.

Why does a statement clarifying your family's involvement have to involve criticism? A positive statement highlighting your involvement and the way forward would not have to include tit for tat. In addition, why have many of the club's recent statements been of a tit for tat nature?

I am a committed investor and fan and want nothing other than to see Rangers continue its progress back to the top of Scottish football. As far as I'm are concerned there is a business plan in place and I am certain the directors will do everything to ensure that it continues to be implemented.

Did the business plan involve a £14m loss? Has Stockbridge shared it with you, given he obviously didn't share it with the last Chairman of the club? When does the business plan involve getting further finance and will it also be frittered away by the directors in under 9 months?

Here's a thought for the Easdales and Stockbridge:

The next time you release a statement for (or about) Rangers it should either be to announce the AGM date or to announce your resignation from the board. :tu:
