RST - Jim McColl and Paul Murray to meet three fan groups

Recommended Posts

Exactly what we don't need another private meeting, don't understand why it can't be public for all fans rather than minority bodies or even filmed for all or broadcast by Rangers Chat radio.

I made that point the last time, none of these groups represent me or the vast majority of Rangers fans.

Think the point is if it was requested by the rst/RSA/RSA then good on them, if this was requested by McColl and Murray then it is poor show.

I personally expect there will be a new angle of attack being played shortly after this meeting.

The only way that a meeting could be arranged with fans is via the membership groups such as the RST, RSA or the RSAss. Currently, there is no other feasible option that could be considered IMO.

There will always be this line of "they dont speak for me" which is fair enough - but if these guys have some form of organisation that can be approached to speak to / for a boody of fans then thats really the only way forward for them.

Given the criticism levied at Murray for using BBC over the recent month, I think this is the only way to appraoch the fans. They couldnt really do anything through the club officially could they?
