Info snatched from FF:

Hargreave Hale and Artemis are believed to support McColl, while Ashley has yet to publicly declare his support.

Artemis are headed by a Paul Murray associate.

Artemis Investment Management was established by Mark Tyndall, John Dodd, Derek Stuart and Lindsay Whitelaw in 1997 as a specialist, active investment management firm. The company now manages assets of some £9.9bn*. Clients' investments are spread across a range of unit trusts, an investment trust, hedge funds, venture capital trusts, a SICAV and segregated institutional portfolios.

The founding partners have been joined by 13 other dedicated fund managers who share the same flair and enthusiasm for fund management. Our investment mandates encourage individual style and freedom of thought - demonstrated by an investment record which validates our philosophy.

All our fund managers invest in Artemis funds. So our fund managers' interests are directly aligned with those of our investors. This approach is one which accords with many family offices.

Surely if the Easdale family are the Rangers fans they claim to be they would step aside if someone like Dave King could take Rangers forward?

I don't think it would be realistic to expect them to step aside for the good of the club. They are after all 'businessmen'. However, everybody has their price.

It's just a matter of finding out what the currency of that price is; money or status. If their price is money, it will be easier to get rid of them.

Well, club confirm Sandy Easdale controls 23.79% of the issued share capital of the Company (including BPH and Margarita).

They're also trying to tell us that 6.14% + 3.99% =12%

THE Company is aware of the press speculation following statements made by former directors in relation to the club's shareholders - Blue Pitch Holdings and Margarita Holdings who hold a 12% stake.

Blue Pitch Holding* 4,000,000 6.14%

Margarita Funds Holding Trust* 2,600,000 3.99%
