The Meeting Between S Easdale and SOS at Full Time

Recommended Posts

Just don't go into orbit. Do I know all inclinations of the DPA? No, hence the questions. Simples.

Do I know a bit about the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz? Yes. And I know what companies have done over here for years and years - and still do - without any harm done to them from the lawmaker. Not least with "confidental" customer data.

I was not refering to the printed version of the telephone book.

I am rather content if you say it is illegal under British law in the way it has been described by Houston. Now the ball is in Easdale's or his lawyer's court and we'll see what happens.

I've heard Craig Houston on the radio and he sounds first class. I wish him all the best. 100% solidarity from this Bear.

He seems like a good guy and not someone deserving of legal threats or writs from a Rangers director because of silly comments posted on a facebook page.

I have a feeling that it's not really about him personally though. It strikes me that it's actually more likely to be a wider intimidation of our fans and that Craig Houston is only being targeted because of his part in the Sons of Struth and Union of Fans initiatives.

The whole point is perhaps to intimidate us to an extent that protests are less successful. Bad move!

Have to go along with you there, Zappa.

There's very little this lot do that's not premeditated.

It's far better to try and sort out these matters face to face and it's to Craig Houston's credit that he did so. It's far better to do particularly in an informal manner that than getting lawyers involved and to stop it escalating.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in requesting to speak to directors in this manner. I have done so in the past.

Let me clarify my opinion.

I agree that it's better to sort it out face to face though matters did appear to have gone beyond that and the solution was obvious to me at least; where I disagree completely is that it should be done in public and certainly not at the Director's Box wall after a match, which is only inviting publicity.

IMHO on a matter as serious as this the face to face meeting should be in private.
