It's the only deal we know all about. Are the other ones like the commercial deal with sports direct better. Seems highly unlikely.

It's basically a 100 percent fail rate for the board.

49% of merchandise profits going back to Sports Direct from the club.

However, there has been more than one error from the latest board (Irvine was here too long, Daniel Stewart don't convince, some board members seem to lack good PR, fan interaction is zero) so there's a big difference between being negative for the sake of it and asking valid questions of people that represent others whose intentions we still don't know enough about.

That's not hyperbole - that's fact.

The loan deal stuff has been taken out of proportion, as it is used to endlessly club the board without knowing the whys of it.

You can hardly argue pro-Irvine, yet, I for one reckon that you simply cannot stop contracts and engagements at once, at least not without costs. So I reckon it took them a while to reach an agreement with Media House and TI.

Can't say too much about Daniel Stewart, as I am not a business guru.

"Fan interaction is zero"? It was "zero" under Murray and Bain, whereas Wallace and Co. have spoken various times to the supporters groups since he took up his role. Now, supporters - obviously - always want to hear every detail and every scrap of info that is out there, but no business this side of Saturn's rings will give a 100% round-up to the public. And that holds true for King as well. There are limits and usually issues have to and will be addressed with the annual accounts. We all want to know the board's / club's strategic plans for the future, but it is unlikely that we get them in a detail we want. Maybe people should come to terms with that, as this is the same all over the world, not just with Rangers FC.

We should get answers to realistic questions from the board, and they obviously have obligations to the stock market too. What quite a few people amongst the support look for goes way beyond that though.
