Why, is he arranging a discount?

It seems to be a story along the lines of Wallace knowing since January that there would be no possibility of credit card payments for season tickets but going ahead and pretending there would be and then blaming the withdrawal of this option on the UoF and King. I think Chris Graham was advising someone who asked if he could trust Wallace's word that he would know the answer to that by Monday. Story is rumoured to be in Retard tomorrow. There are claims that leakked emails are behind the story.

Truly damning!

But it's all good, right STB, RAB et al?

Extra special thanks to saviour Charlie. He really did Rangers proud didn't he?

One for the history books that's for sure. Dodgy accountants, chancers and ****s of the future will study the details of the pillage of our club in utter disbelief and ask themselves - Was it really that easy?

If that's true then Wallace's credibility is further shaken; but at the end of the day it is better for fans and for Rangers to pay Rangers direct is it not?

If they were based on financial importance, I thought there was universal agreement that a FD should not have had a bonus based on football?

OK, I'm getting the very strong impression that you're just writing stuff, anything, doesn't matter how irrelevant - just so that you can say you have answered a question; although you clearly haven't.

So a couple of questions:

"If they were based on financial importance". a) What does "financial importance" mean? I've never heard the term before. and b) would you care to finish the conditional? if they were based on financial importance..then what?

Why are you talking about FDs? Is the Finance Director the only member of the board in line for a bonus here? Why are you focussng on one position only and why are you ignoring the fact that the rest of the board are taking massives bonuses whilst presiding over a failing business? A cynical person might thnk you are trying to deflect the question down a cul-de-sac of irrelevance.

Why are you avoiding the question: "what would the basis for the bonuses have to be for them to be acceptable to you?"

GRAHAM Wallace is on the ropes after claiming calls for a season-ticket boycott have plunged Rangers into a credit card crisis.

Record Sport has seen documents that show payment processor First Data told the stricken club they wanted full security in return for their services as early as January 23 this year.

That flies in the face of claims from Wallace in the club’s 120-day business review, published yesterday, that threats of a season-ticket snub cost them the key financial service.

Dave King first called on fans to snub season-ticket sales on February 26, more than a month after First Data raised their concerns about the financial position of the club.

They informed Rangers they were uneasy at the state of the club’s accounts and negative publicity at the time around talk of wage cuts for players.

First Data added they were uncomfortable providing the facilities on anything less than a “fully secured” basis and proposed withholding all season ticket sales for 2014-15.

At no point in their correspondence with Ibrox bosses on January 23, circulated between senior staff including Wallace and ex-finance director Brian Stockbridge did they mention fears for a season ticket snub – because those calls had yet to be made.

But Wallace told fans and shareholders in his review: “The board believes one of the major factors influencing the merchant acquirer to change its terms was the extensive negative coverage of calls in some quarters for supporters to refrain or delay purchasing season tickets.”

The revelation is set to strain further the relationship between the board and Rangers fans who will be angry they were being asked to renew season tickets when the club knew the facility to pay by credit card was in serious doubt – and had been since January.
