Have scanned with Malwarebytes recently and every time this BadProxy so and so comes up. It seems to be a virus, but so far it hasn't done much damage.

Is there any tool that can remove it, or has it to be done manually ?

Its a shity drive-by malware.

Malware bytes should remove it though no?

select the box, and do remove all?

Its coming from pop ups/ads/phoney sites

Malware bytes asks if you want to quarantine, it keeps coming back.

It should have 'remove' option as well ?

boot the pc in safe mode, run a full scan in malware bytes, do remove all on anything found

reboott into normal mode again and run a full scan and see it picks it up again.

Still getting 2 items detected, but the only action it offers is quarantine or ignore. Perhaps it's because it is the Free Version, would that be the reason?

There is also Add Exclusion offered.

Thanks for the help.

Mate, i'll need to check the latest versoin of mwb, i will check at work tomorrow and check it still the same.

dont think they made it premium only, used be the only diffenrece was premium kept you clean in live time. whereas the free version is on scan on demand only., might have changed there look on that.

theres a few spyware remover's you can try like, in honusty malware bytes usually one of the best
