... maybe they have already drawn and quartered that chap responsible for the correspondence during Whyte takeover and time after ... and the chap responsible now is quick to react and send out letters and court orders and whatnot, e.g. to Hearts. Nah ...

A warts and all autobiography by Jack Irvine would reveal more than a thousand Public Inquiries. He knows where ALL the skeletons are buried - from SDM through to the present day.

he's neck deep in all of this

BTW, some revelations as to why Whyte was able to cover his PAYE payments back then, while Hearts were hunted much quicker. It does not shed any light on why he was allowed to walk freely about because of his 4m tax debt though, not to mention buying Rangers.

No mate, we don't. Merlin interviewed the man you are talking about and was shown cast iron proof that MF had nothing to do with Rangers account. You may however find out whoever was in charge of our account had similar motive but I don't believe it was who you think it was mate.

Glad to have you back on board SC.

You are 100% correct about MF, as for once, was Merlin.

Whyte delivered our club like a sacrificial lamb into the hands of HMRC, they duly slaughter it. His reward was his liberty and freedom, any other dirty little rat like him would be banged up for what he did, strange that?

And what was this 'cast iron proof' then?

If he had nothing to do with Rangers account did he have any influence on its sale to Whyte?

His time at LBG must have been of immense benefit to him in the role he got at Harper McLeod for the SPL's dual contracts investigation

I don't know precisely what he was shown, but I know he worked in an entirely different area of the bank from the one which managed the RFC connection. He had neither the authority nor the influence to pursue any anti Rangers agenda even if he had one (which I severely doubt).

In short, someone has seen the guy's job title and linked that to his previous involvement with Celtic and put two and two together to make five.
