Stimpy 0
The thing is they SHOULD be way, way, way ahead of us in all departments and they aren't. They've had a free go at the title for three years, they've had guaranteed Europe until Xmas every year basically and they've bought and sold well in the transfer market. If Rangers were to beat them there would be a mutiny on Kerrydale Street of previously unheard of proportions. Nuclear Timplosion. I agree on principal with your post but are the tims stockpiling a war chest for our return? Their infrastructure is in place whereas ours needs a complete overhaul.

I think a heavy bump back to earth would be encountered if we played them. Given how poor we are against vastly inferior sides.
Bearman 9
Barry is spot on. Rangers and C*ltic are too close to call, such is the state of football in this country, has been for many many years.
Tom Davison 0
Of course, Celtic are ahead of us right now but this 10 year thing is a load of nonsense. Celtic are an average team, who are numerically stronger than all the teams they are playing against. They should have better players. However, just what the basis is for a 10 year advantage is difficult to understand. Really good players have no interest in playing in the Scottish League. Goodness knows what the future situation will be at our club but the way things are going our league here in Scotland is unlikely to have progressed much in 10 years and the league championship could be won by an average team with average players. I know that the future is bleak at Rangers but surely our aspirations can stretch to our team consisting of sufficient average players, who before 10 years have elapsed should be able to challenge Celtic.
Bearman 9
Scottish football is in the position where Rangers can be CHAMPIONS next year, THAT is the state of the game.
