Ashley takes control of Rangers intellectual property

Recommended Posts

What are fans options? What can they do? Everything so far has failed. Backing them, protesting against them, moaning about them everyday, scaremongering, telling other fans the truth, making financial offers which fall short of the required want, what else can be done? Nothing is working. Season book renewals and Ibrox crowds are at a 20 year low, starving them out ain't working. Is it now fair to say the club is indeed all but dead, finished, gone? I don't see us ever again dominating Scottish football or getting anywhere near Celtic, it's just not going to happen. It's as deluded as thinking starving these people out would have got rid of them.

Ashley is the fiercest dog of them all, Green, Murray and Whyte are pet poodles compared to this guy. It seems we will be run his own or no way and there isn't a man in the Rangers family who comes close to his wealth or power.

We should all adopt a 'wait and see' attitude where Mr Ashley is concerned. Remember, it was the last lot who oversaw our current predicament.

The last lot and Ashley are one and the same. They will take, take, take, until we are a shell.

All that is left is to take the names Ibrox and Rangers.

i sincerely doubt that but we will soon find out

Once he has secured what he wants, if he hasn't already done so, he will have little interest in what happens to Rangers as a football club. He knows that some mug will come in and bankroll it's existence while he coins it in from the type of market stall merchandise that SDM spent so much time and money on trying to eradicate.

I tend to agree but the "wait and see" policy is why we are where we are.

Wait and see if Shyster is good to his word.

Wait and see if Green is good to his word.

Wait and see if the current board come good.

Wait and see if Ashley is going to be good for the club? Sorry, but wait and see is the problem. We need to react to what we see now. So far in his 2 years' semi-involvement at Rangers, we've been liquidated, sold our naming rights to SDI, our badges to SDI, we squandered £70m in funds, we've gotten 3/4 loans from differing parties all secured against the Clubs assets.

I just can't see this ending well at all.

He'll be the majority shareholder by then end of the year.
