The Delahunt Solution (+ Rangers likely to escape action over sectarian chanting)

Recommended Posts

That's certainly our perception but the yahoos have waged a war on perception of their behaviour which they seem to be winning. They stick to the "it's political" mantra like glue and that perception has been almost universally accepted by the media. They seem to ignore the fact that there are countless instances of Celtic fans being arrested and charged with sectarian offences, assaults and recently an attempted murder.

UEFA certainly dont seem to see the yahoos songs etc as political judging by the number of times they've fined them in recent seasons. They get away with it at home because no one has the balls to challenge them. They are by far and away the worst offenders in Scottish football and they know it

What amazes me in all of this is what would people have preferred last Friday at StarksPark:-

1) sang TBB

2) wrecked Starks Park the same way the yahoos wrecked Motherwell, Dundee and Hertz

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

By the Mhedia constantly highlighting only one club''s supporters wrongs, that doesn't make it right either. Or solve the underlying tribal, cultural, or religion problems in Scottish football .

If Rangers had ceased to exist several season ago, would the Republican terrorist love-in at Celtic Park ceased? I don't think so .

Free speech does not exist here and it has not existed for some time.

Free speech doesn't exist everywhere or is at least restricted in many ways and many places, and legally at that. What should be clear to those offenders at Stark's Park et al is that while you can sure fight your (!) right of freedom of speech, the place and situation was almightily wrong. It did not and does not take much brains to know what sort of shyte storm would come our way and that it does indeed harm the club these singers love, usually not the people themselves. So for the sake of the club, the singers should use their brains and fight at the right frontiers.

Free speech can never mean you can say what you want. There have to be borders. Pity help the day we have these moslim radical priests spouting there hate on our streets. I suppose we also have to accept that songs judged to be driven by hate can also not be used,
