Chris Graham Twitter problem

Take two.

I'm not sure why people think that a Rangers director has to be an experienced business person or an entrepreneur.

We need people on the board like that, but not everyone has to be this way.

We need someone on the board who understands the politics of being a Rangers fan; who knows how to respond to the attacks that come our way and who realises that the club needs to have political influence and a much bigger footprint in Scottish society. We also need people who have a vision for Rangers and who are not wholly consumed with the nuts and bolts of the day to day operation, important though it is.

If every director is a business person or accountant, the club may lack the ability to project and defend Rangers in hostile territory.

The board needs variety. Chris Graham gave it a bit extra. He's gone now but his replacement should be of similar pedigree.
