Calm before the storm - focus on SFA

Recommended Posts

Very quiet across the online community at the moment.

Suspect that may change today with Guidetti charge due to be heard and KIng F&P stuff still to be decided.

What's the odds on not proven for Guidetti and an approval for King pretty much at the same time?

An FFer noted that it is interesting to see people decide upon the suitability of King while having chaps amongst them with interest in a company that is under HMRC investigation because of tax evasion ... (he did not mention who exactly, but I take it that you will know him/them)

Not sure who you mean but some may consider investing into a vehicle different from actually running it - e.g. would you consider a Rangers player more or less F&P than SDM for the EBT stuff?

IN any case if it's Lawwell you mean, then there's been some suggestion he's recused himself from voting on King.

Wouldn't surprise me to see them opt for the foreigner didn't appreciate what he was saying stuff when it comes to 'hun'. As for the charge about demeaning Rangers, well that's perhaps more difficult to defend which is why that was supposedly specified originally over and above the 'hun' stuff.

Would any of us be surprised to see the SFA take the easiest route here?

If the leaders of our country excuse the use of word Hun then it's easy for the SFA to follow suit.

If they do then it shows that the SFA are only playing lip service to anti-sectarianism in the same way as the SNP are.

I was just thinking how everything is quiet these days! a far cry from the last few years when you'd wake up with dread as to what you would find was happening with our club. Hopefully King will get his approval and we can get on with it. i'm looking forward to a summer of transfer rumours like the good old days :)

The Lord Advocate, Frank Mulholland has let it be known to PFs, that he is NOT interested in pursuing anyone for usage of the 'H' term. The Justice Minister, Michael Mathieson agrees. The Police have been informed. Soon, the accrued stats will show the desired results, namely that Rangers supporters are the problem. Recently, we have young Rangers supporters convicted and jailed for singing songs with sectarian references; where as Paul McGowan has NOT received a custodial sentence for his third conviction for Police assault.

This is politically motivated and executed. The Scottish Government Minister tasked with tackling sectarianism is Roseanna Cunningham. Thus, in Frank, Michael, and Roseanna we trust!

Well, maybe we should turn it all on its head and call the Hooped Horrors "huns" again, as was done in the past. The "Hooped Huns" goes well off the tongue. Then again, do that for 6 months and it will be deemed offensive if sung to them ...

Can you seriously imagine what life would be like as a Rangers Supporter living in an independent Scotland with this lot in charge ?????

We'd be second class citizens at best. Never understood how any Rangers supporter could vote SNP
