Rangers and the loan market: Embrace it

Recommended Posts

He certainly isn't but we need to get him there.

We would get promoted no problem without the loan players.

But players such as Dykes may STILL not be good enough for the 1st team. Sometimes you just have to accept that they aren't good enough and it isn't the loan players holding them back, but their own limited ability.

Not saying that about Dykes, just generally speaking.

Of course. But at our long term expense

You learn the game on the training pitch GS. Warburton will be putting ALL the players through their paces, including players like Dykes. If he can show the improvement necessary then he will get his chance, nothing surer. As Frankie says, if he isn't ready and we cast him into the 1st team you have as much chance of hindering his progress as furthering it.

if its in a clubs benefit to bring a player in on loan then so be it I don't see anything wrong as long as the club have a good enough core of players to build upon when the loan players go back to their parent clubs .
