I'd like to see Fergie or Alex Rae get a shot; the more experience ex-Gers get from managing is all to the good for us. We will need somebody one day when MW is enticed away. One of our own is less likely to jump ship. And if they're no good, well they will get found out at the likes of St. Mirren.

Agree with Weir too but the tendency nowadays is for managers to take their number 2's with them though. Fear we might be stuck with McInnes, unless he were to show a big improvement.
