Sorry Pete you are out of order in implying low working classes.Yobs and hooligans exist in all levels of society be it in actual violence or in mental torture it is all there.

If other posters interpret X or Y differently to yourself, it doesn't always mean as you seem to frequently and categorically point out,... that they are wrong.

Has there been any reaction from fans groups ?.....or is it that the transition process/ new group isn't yet in a position to be able to do so ?

Personally I'm hoping that when the new unified fans group make a statement they will call on all Rangers fans to boycott every away stadium in the country.

Deny them the blue pound and watch them all crumble.

No matter what happened yesterday I won't be going to watch away games. I made that pledge the day they threw us out of the league and I will be keeping it.

I wish every fan felt the same way boabie, though I also understand those who have religiously gone to away games over the years wanting to retain that right.

When Frankie said that 'we need to box clever' he was obviously right.

You'd hope that the club and the fans could allign themselves in an attempt to get the underlying problem out into the public debate and contemplated.

Ultimately individuals will decide if they want to attend away games or not and the calling for boycotts by a fans group at this stage isn't IMO boxing clever,.... if you want to even try to get to the fundamantal problem.

We need to change the area of public debate around the issue.

I hope after yesterday even fans who did still attend away games, I include myself in this, will now see the wood from the trees and realise we must act now. As I have just said to someone else, if we let this go, what has to happen before we collectively stand up for ourselves?? Players and staff being attacked and our support is somehow being help even partly responsible for the actions of thousands of Hibs fans!! A blanket request to all Rangers fans to stand up and not attend away fixtures is a start, do not give them our money or the chance to goad or criminalise us. The players will be ok, we must make a stand.
