Health and Safety at Work for one. If he steps over the line he'll face a court. There are absolutely dozens of other pieces of legislation referring to workers rights which the EU implemented.

That's from someone who has no interest in Brussels too.

Unfortunately since the unions got emasculated and the labour party turned into the tory party there is nobody else looking after the workforce.

J, I'll guarantee that due to what's been heard by the committee Ashley will face justice. H&S protects workers and low skilled workers arriving here is a separate debate.

The EU gave you yellow ambulances and straight cucumbers. What more do you want?

 

They are also the biggest legislators in the food industry. Some things were possibly over the top like straight banana's and cucumbers but they have now been dropped. Admittedly Britain had a large say in many of the EU decisions. The quality of what you eat is down to EU legislation.
