Dear Member

There will be 3 dates in September for hustings where members can question prospective candidates for the board of Club 1872.

Candidates attending on the 5th September will be Joanne Percival, Scott McCulloch, Stevie Sinclair, Iain Martin, James Blair, Craig Houston and Laura Fawkes.

Candidates attending on the 13th September will be Iain Leiper, William Cowie, Stevie Sinclair, Alex Wilson, Iain Martin, James Blair and Craig Houston.

Candidates attending on the 21st September will be William Cowie, Stevie Sinclair, Alex Wilson, Iain Martin, Johnathan McGookin, James Durrant, Brian Donohoe, Kelly Johnstone, Craig Houston and Laura Fawkes.

All events will start at 7pm sharp and will take place in the Ibrox Suite at Ibrox Stadium.

Each candidate will be allocated 5 minutes to address the audience, thereafter they will be asked to receive questions from the floor. If members cannot attend they are welcome to email questions to info@club1872.co.uk but priority will be given to questions from the floor.

Order of appearance will be alphabetical except where a candidate has previously appeared (ie if they spoke on the 5th and are appearing again on the 12th they will be asked to defer to those who were speaking for the first time).

All hustings will be recorded and posted on the website for those members who cannot attend.

If you have any questions please contact info@club1872.co.uk.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Club 1872

Are we going to have a mock election to pick our 7 candidates or just not bother incase it develops into a rammy lol

Probably best to include everyone's covering latter if we're going to do that. And to wait until after the hustings before we open any vote.

To be honest I don't like the way the candidates are starting to get engineered , and also the way certain conditions are now getting bent to allow people to stand .

Certain potential candidates from the NARSA convention decided not to stand after being told they had to attend at least 1 meeting , now it turns out SKYPE is being allowed to be used .Certain parts of peoples notices were left out " by mistake" then it was due to a computer glitch .
