Gers Link Up With Gameday Arts

Recommended Posts

RANGERS Soccer Schools are delighted to announce a new and exciting partnership with Gameday Arts Academy from India – a first for Rangers Football Club in the country.

The agreement will allow young, talented kids from the Soccer Academy based in Bangalore exclusive access to the Club’s state of the art training centre in Scotland where they will experience best in class training sessions from qualified academy coaching staff. In addition, Rangers staff will travel to India in person to identify players as well as develop the resident coaching team at Gameday Arts Academy. Read more.

Dunno how good Indian football is, but I doubt that it is anywhere close to Korean or Japanese. Also in terms of adaptability of the players to Europe and our game. But who knows?

Given that Julian Juul Wolhardt recently bought a large chunk of shares, you would assume that a partnership in China was more likely. Then again, the above is one for kids and Wolhardt's might be more business-wise.

India is an old British colony and there are already many Indians in Britain so I doubt if they would be behind Korea and Japan for adaptability.
