Gaspard, that's an interesting find.

I attended my first match against Third Lanark in August'63. I have no memory of a Scottish Cup match against Duns. What league did they play in? Did Jim Clark put money into the club? Where do they play now?

Check your dates 26

You may have been going to Ibrox for longer than you think

Aug 61 or Aug 62

I should have stated it was an away game.

It was August'62 at Hampden for a League Cup sectional game. We won 2-5.

I have found out Duns FC played mostly in the East of Scotland League. Currently, they are in the B League of the Borders Amateur League. Their nickname is, 'the Dingers'.

There was an interesting exchange between Neil Lennon and the SFA's Ian Maxwell on this morning's BBC Scotland Euro Breakfast radio show. Lennon continues to peddle his 'we were treated differently over Covid' line and Maxwell's response left him floundering. It's telling though that it took another guest to correct Lennon rather than one of the money journalists BBC Scotland Sport employ.

There can be no senior positions in government, the media, police, judiciary, education, healthcare or the Civil Service for people who don't obsequiously take a knee to nationalism. Any aspect of public life that depends on money or approval from Holyrood is in thrall to the SNP and that is the very definition of socialism and why it is always a well of corruption. National socialism of the purest variety is back and it's ours.
