Rangers staff risk stoking sectarianism hints Glasgow council boss Susan Aitken

Recommended Posts

When several individuals who represent a political party all agitate one section of society, on a consistent basis, any conclusions about the general outlook of said party are easily reached.

The SNP don't like Rangers.

I'm sure the FM and her ministers have enough on their busy plates at the moment to be worrying about us.

If only that were true. Showing anti-Rangers bias is a sure fire way of getting support amongst the pondlife in our country

I do.  These things are subjective but the examples of bias are weighing up.

I don't think there is any question that they [SNP] have a few very vocal Celtic supporters in their midst. What we're debating here is whether or not there has been any impropriety by these cllrs at GCC.  There is evidence to suggest that the decision to refuse the fanzone came from an intervention by three of these cllrs. It is extremely unlikely that we'll discover let alone prove the why of it. I'm as sympathetic as the next person to these postulations my problem with it is its just conjecture on our part. What needs to be done is exactly what Club1872 have done and that is as we now know to submit a complaint to the Standards commission. If procedures haven't been followed as they should have then there will be no avoiding it. There should also have been a complaint to the ICO from RIFC and or Sandy Robertson for the quite obvious data breach..

Are we just pretending dornan didnt say this.

My concern is that these matches are controlled by the likes of Sky Sports. If you look at the football schedules the pitch would never be available for kids football ever again.

“Rangers should be investing in youth football in the area. They shouldn’t be trying to replace it with burgers and booze.

“I can’t sit back and watch a kids’ football pitch being taken away like that.”

That all sounds fair and even handed.

The SNP don’t hate Rangers. Some of their members may do so, some who support Rangers may hate another club.

I think we, as a support, need to be diplomatic and technical with any statements and queries about impropriety we make.

As an individual, I find that quite impossible when it comes to the SNP, so I applaud C1872, who are doing a good job with this particular incident.

I hope they keep it up.

Well, mainly because that's literally what you asked me.

I admit I've only gone back to April but I can see nowhere that I even mentioned Roman Catholics. Only you did.

You're trying to be smart ... and failing. Try it somewhere that's more receptive ?
