Erick Guti

Not sure about this. We are sure no rehab centre, but neither should we hang players with problems out to dry. At least that is how it comes across ... and who knows what the media spin is. There is a footballer in Pena and one wonders how much effort - if any - was spent by us getting it to the fore. Not least when we paid quite some money for him.

He isn't being hung out to dry.  SG doesn't want him, on footballing grounds.  That isn't being hung out to dry.  It's the same as thousands of other players who are told the same thing.

His problems are self-inflicted.

How would you know whether SG not wanting him for football reasons? In any case, it was not started by SG.

He was one of those players who didn't even look good on YouTube. I remember being excited to watch a youtube compilation of him when I heard his exotic name and the amount we were paying for and just thinking my word Michael O'Halloran has a better Youtube compilation than that what is going on.
