[FT] Rangers 2 - 1 Motherwell (Defoe 45+1; Helander 79)

Recommended Posts

I suspect in the second half we may get maybe 10 to 15 minutes of football and 30 minutes of Motherwell wasting time.

Quick thinking by McGregor.  His quick distribution has been a factor this year.

[HT] 1-1.

I don't think we've played badly at all.

They scored a lucky goal out of nothing, and, OK, we were a little sloppy in defending it too.

The tempo has been good for large spells, but we've not really created a clear-cut chance; all half-chances. And, we missed a penalty.

They're are a good side; difficult to play against.

The frustration has come from the piss poor Ref, and their time-wasting tactics.

Rangers are struggling a bit here. Aribo, Stewart and Arfield aren't contributing enough.

Aribo and Arfield I agree with, but I think Stewart has done OK, although it's not came off for him.
