Cabinet reshuffle

Recommended Posts

Who knows whether the new members of the cabinet will be any better than those who've been sacked but it certainly makes a change to see a PM who's able to dictate to his cabinet instead of being in thrall to them. Weak leadership has been a depressing reality of the Brown/Cameron/May era and it seems Boris now means to run things from the centre for a spell.

Not only should they all sing from the same hymn sheet but they should all believe the words of the hymns - more or less.

I’m just concerned that an unelected person such as Cummings or Campbell in a different rôle in the past, have too much influence.

The chief advisor shouldn't be deciding what is done but advising on how to do it. It's the old leader-manager thing ...... managers strive to do things right and leaders strive to do the right things. Hopefully they won't confuse these two quite different roles.

Dominic Cumming is impatient, and Boris does what he is told.

The old “evil genius hiding behind the buffoon” narrative. Let’s hope the leftists and nationalists in this country actually believe that shite. They’ve precious little else to believe in.

Sorry mate.

You're a couple of months too late.

If you mean the General Election I don't think Johnston got a resounding victory in Scotland and neither do a majority in the UK support him, such is the first past the post system.
