Cricket - England v India

Recommended Posts

Some good Indian batting to look forward to, although, I hope, not too good.

Not the most prolific, not the most tenacious, not the biggest slogger but surely the most effortlessly  elegant post-war Indian batsman is Azharuddin. Anybody to match him in the current squad?

Is there an all rounder like Kapil Dev? Ashwin is always a problem for England.

Anyone watched any of The Hundred?

I just can't seem to get excited about the shorter forms of the game.

I'm looking forward to the Test match, though.

Any form of cricket where the bowling is always the defence is probably a waste of time.

Agree, nothing comes close to test match cricket.

Watched it last night this would have been a great platform for some of the players like Richards Botham or the late Colin Milburn.

England all out for a poultry 183 runs it's been a very poor first day .

The England test side is now in disarray. It's best bowlers are near the end of their illustrious careers and it's batting lineup stands between stale and fragile. I can hardly believe how quickly this most recent decline has happened.
