A week or so ago I said, forgive my lack of accuracy on that!.

I'm a Rangers fans and I'm not weird! he jumped ship, simples!.

I will always remember SG for doing a runner, quite simple really, I can't understand Rangers fans who think it's ok and wishing him all the best!.

Refreshing honesty

Villa job’s available. That’s what’s changed. He might have gone to ‘Spurs if he had been invited. I doubt he would ever have gone to Norwich, Watford or the like.

The lack of transfer activity which he was obviously irked about.

I can see Villa as the means but not the root reason for Gerrard leaving. It’s not because it’s Villa, they’re just the first convenient and palatable opportunity to meet the needs of a manager who no longer wanted to be at Ibrox

We have lost bigger and better managers, and bigger and better Rangers people and still prospered. Lets see what the next couple of days bring.

It could be argued that a management team of someone like Gio and Wouters (plus say a Neil McCann) is an upgrade.....

However, a Russell Martin, Derek McInnes, Jack Ross, KT type appointment should have alarm bells ringing (for various reasons).
