Lets wait and see how result goes today, the jambos might just put a dampner on any planned tital party.

Hearts will have one eye on the Scottish Cup Final.

This game is in 11 days , the players aren’t going to lose any sharpness by not playing 3 games in the next 7 days , Sunday , Wednesday , Saturday , they are however far more likely to pick up injuries imho .

We tend to struggle after the winter break, which is... Three weeks?

I think if we're not playing for 11 days, we'll see a difference, a drop off.

That doesn't mean we should be playing our full strength team Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday; that's too far the other way, risking burn-out and injury.

Just manage their game-time, making sure they are at peak performance.

I would like to see some youngsters get a game. King and Lowry deserve a shot; McCann, perhaps; Zukowski, etc.

This has split opinions amongst guys I know and work with , my opinion is we rest the players for the 18th ,forget the league and concentrate on the Europa league , thoughts .

Definitely.

Everyone should get at most just enough minutes to stay sharp.

Rest the players who need it tomorrow and next weekend and play them midweek to keep their sharpness.

That seems the most sensible solution to me too. Play as close to our final 11 next midweek, and rotate the 2 weekend games. Should actually still be too good for our 3 domestic opponents who are all pretty gash and have nothing to play for.

Nothing to play for??  I don't agree. They will want to beat us desperately, the Europa League Finalists and the most successful team the world has ever seen.
